The International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA) has announced the winners of its annual Élan Awards for card manufacturing excellence and booth design.

Among the winners were the BRIT Award MasterCard PayPass manufactured by ID Data for the Brit Awards/MasterCard, which took top prize in the technical achievement category. The winner of the best secure financial card was ASE Credit Union, manufactured by Oberthur for Harland Clarke. And the eID Card Design Matrix manufactured by Bundesdruckerei took top spot for BIS International in the Best ID Card category.
