PORTLAND, Ore.-Eid Passport, Inc., the leader in secure vendor access management, has developed the RAPIDGate-Premier™ Option to enable streamlined access using a single credential for vendors at military installations and government facilities that have the RAPIDGate® Program. The option is available at locations across the continental United States and Hawaii.

The RAPIDGate-Premier Option enables enrolled companies to gain access authorization and identity authentication using a single credential, regardless of the RAPIDGate Program location they visit. Since many companies conduct business at multiple government facilities and military installations, this option provides a substantial return on investment for vendors.

Beginning in early 2007, the option was simply called Multi-Facility Access. “We initially offered this option at Fort Bliss to test the response. Within four weeks, we launched the product to all RAPIDGate-enabled locations nation-wide, due to the obvious market need and great success demonstrated,” explained Steve Larson, Chairman and CEO of Eid Passport. “The RAPIDGate-Premier Option has proven itself and continually provides an accelerated return on investment and considerable convenience for our customers.”

After almost two years of success with the product, the company recently re-branded it the RAPIDGate-Premier Option. The company saw its first substantial success with the product with the implementation of it at White Sands Missile Range in November 2007, due to its close proximity to Fort Bliss. The increase in company enrollments and employee registrations for the option continued in January 2008 with the many additional RAPIDGate Program implementations in the Naval Region Southwest. The option now has almost 2,000 employees registered and more than 500 companies enrolled across all installations - with Naval Base San Diego, Point Loma and Coronado having the greatest number of enrollments.

Once a company has successfully enrolled at one installation with the RAPIDGate Program, it may initiate enrollment at other installations or facilities with the RAPIDGate Program simply by calling 1-877-RAPIDGate (1-877-727-4342). Following the approval process, one account and one credential may serve multiple installations or facilities. Companies already enjoy streamlined access and cost savings using the RAPIDGate Program. They can increase their return on investment by enrolling in the RAPIDGate-Premier Option. It only costs $49 to add a company per installation and $29 to add an employee that already has a RAPIDGate credential per installation.
